  1. Another great podcast. I love the way it all seems so obvious once you explain it. When you say to get in front of the customer as soon as possible I absolutely agree, when they have just dented the car its probably the worst thing to happen that day and they just want it fixed asap, but in a few days they might not be so bothered and forget about it or just live with it.
    Thanks again and hurry up with number 6.

    Just a little story after i had listened to this podcast and how you mentioned about calling into your wholesale customer if passing. Well today i tried your technique, so firstly i do have some wholesale traders but they are a 45-60mins drive away and i have done them for a few years so Instead of calling in I gave them a Call on the phone. One in particular specialises in Audi / Mercedes / BMW / VW etc but is only a small site and as not needed my services for a few weeks and generally i let him call me. So i calls him up this morning asking how things are and a general chat about the poor weather we have had lately and BOOM! he say’s “I have been meaning to call you to see when are you are in the area next time as i only have 1 car to do”. As the conversation continues he is then telling me he as 2 other cars with only a couple of dents in which he is going to leave them unless customer see’s the dent and 2 more due to arrive which may have dents. With this I have now booked all three cars to do and with the other 2 as possibilities so I am looking at about £200 depending on the repairs needed. BONUS!
    So I may have 5 cars to do just because I had taken your advice and the cost of a phone call :). I even called into one of my dealerships again today just because i was passing spoke to everyone who I know from workshop/sales/valeters and even office staff but unfortunately no repairs but I did get them to leave me feedback on my PDR Nation review page.
    Again excellent advice and looking forward to the next podcast 😉

Hello I am so delighted I found your blog page, I really found you bymistake, while I was researching on Aol for something else, Regardless I am herenow and would just like to say kudos for a remarkable post anda all round entertaining blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to read it all at the minute but I havebook-marked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read much more, Please do keep up the awesome jo.
